Me: "I heard 2024 was a little tense, with the cicadas and all."
 
Opossum Posse, after a long pause: "Look.. it’s been a learning curve. When I was growing up--and I'm not proud of this-- the cicadas were an All You Can Eat Buffet."
 
Me: "It's hard to unlearn things, but possible. What changed your mind?"
 
Opossum Posse, grooming one of her babies: "Well, the sun didn't help my little one here sleep, and early morning strolls didn't help either....only the sound of the cicadas."
